Description
A double ended 19th century handmade copper bath. Reclaimed from Carmel d’Avignon in France (we were given this provenance from the previous owner but we are not able to provable but given the design, size and quality of the craftsmanship it has clearly come from aristocractic ownership).
Condition report:
To make it functional for modern use we can put in a new waste and reline the underside seal of the bath to give it a double watertight seal (the inside seal looks in good condition and shouldn’t leak anyway. There is one small split on the rim which we can solder or patch up. There is also an oxidised patch on one side of the bath which we can polish out.
