Renowned for its exceptional leather craftsmanship, Swiss furniture maker De Sede produced some of the most distinctive upholstered furniture of the mid-century modern period.

This original DS-35 chair features generously proportioned black leather upholstery, broad padded armrests and distinctive decorative whipstitch detailing along the edges.

The substantial upholstered seat and backrest are supported by a polished aluminium four-star swivel base, giving the chair a distinctive combination of luxurious comfort and restrained modernist design.
